These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FoundHER & FundHER website and your registration for, purchase of, or participation in FoundHER & FundHER events, programs, resources, and related services.
By using our website, purchasing or accepting an event ticket, registering for an event, or participating in our programs, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the applicable services or register for or attend our events.

2. Event Tickets and Registration
Unless expressly stated otherwise, each event ticket admits one person to the event identified on the ticket or registration confirmation.
Tickets may not be reproduced, duplicated, resold, or used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Admission may be subject to verification of registration or ticket information.
3. Meals and Additional Expenses
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable event description, the purchase of an event ticket does not include lunch, dinner, meals, beverages, transportation, parking, lodging, or other personal expenses.
Where lunch or other food is available for separate purchase, each attendee is responsible for the cost of their own order.
Attendees are responsible for confirming ingredients, allergens, and dietary requirements directly with the applicable restaurant, caterer, venue, or food provider.
4. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations
Event fees are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Refund policy: Tickets are not refundable or transferrable unless the event owners have had to cancel for some unfortunate reason.
FoundHER & FundHER may cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify an event when reasonably necessary, including because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Speakers, programming, schedules, venues, formats, and other event details may change.
If FoundHER & FundHER cancels or materially reschedules an event, any refund, credit, or transfer rights will be governed by the policy communicated for that event and applicable law.
Except as expressly stated in the applicable refund policy or required by law, FoundHER & FundHER is not responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, meals, lost work, or other expenses incurred in connection with an event.
5. Community Conduct
FoundHER & FundHER is intended to provide a professional, respectful, and constructive community.
Attendees and participants must treat other attendees, speakers, staff, vendors, and guests respectfully and must not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, disruptive conduct, unlawful activity, or conduct that materially interferes with an event or the safety or participation of others.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or require a participant to leave an event when we reasonably determine that the participant has violated these Terms, applicable event rules, or reasonable safety or conduct requirements.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the FoundHER & FundHER name, branding, website content, event materials, original educational resources, graphics, designs, written materials, and other content created and owned by FoundHER & FundHER are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
FoundHER & FundHER grants attendees a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use materials made available to them solely for their own lawful personal or internal business use, unless different permissions are expressly provided.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, license, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from FoundHER & FundHER materials without prior written permission.
Speakers, sponsors, partners, attendees, and other third parties may retain ownership of materials and intellectual property they independently create or provide. Nothing in these Terms transfers third-party intellectual property to FoundHER & FundHER.
7. Recording and Event Content
Attendees may not record, livestream, reproduce, or commercially distribute presentations or other protected event content except with permission from FoundHER & FundHER and, where applicable, the relevant speaker or rights holder.
By attending a FoundHER & FundHER event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. You grant FoundHER & FundHER the right to use your image, likeness, and voice in photographs, videos, and other media for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes, without compensation or further notice.
8. No Guarantee of Funding, Investment, Introductions, or Results
Participation in a FoundHER & FundHER event or community does not guarantee funding, investment, financing, introductions, partnerships, customers, employment, business opportunities, revenue, or any other particular result.
The presence of an investor, founder, speaker, sponsor, professional, organization, or other attendee at an event does not create any obligation for that person or organization to meet with, advise, fund, invest in, hire, contract with, or otherwise do business with any participant.
Participants remain responsible for evaluating their own business decisions and opportunities.
9. Educational Information; No Professional Advice
Information presented through FoundHER & FundHER events, speakers, website content, communications, or resources is provided for general educational and informational purposes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such information is not intended as individualized legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding decisions requiring professional advice.
Views expressed by guest speakers, attendees, sponsors, or other third parties are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of FoundHER & FundHER.
10. Third-Party Services and Providers
Events and website services may involve third parties, including venues, restaurants, speakers, sponsors, payment processors, registration platforms, transportation providers, or other independent businesses.
FoundHER & FundHER does not control independent third parties and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, products, services, policies, or practices.
Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that third party's own terms and policies.
11. Assumption of Event Risks
Attendance at an in-person event involves ordinary risks associated with travel, public gatherings, venues, food and beverage services, and interactions with other persons.
By choosing to attend, you accept the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with your voluntary participation, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be limited or waived.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website, events, programs, materials, and resources are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
FoundHER & FundHER does not guarantee that information will be error-free or that participation will produce any particular professional, financial, business, networking, or other result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FoundHER & FundHER and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the website, participation in an event, or use of related materials or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of FoundHER & FundHER arising from or relating to a particular paid event will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to FoundHER & FundHER for admission to that event.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and disputes arising from them will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, the parties agree that disputes arising from these Terms will be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, CA.
16. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
17. No Waiver
A failure by FoundHER & FundHER to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it later.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
